DVG – Rudolf Jaeckel Prize Ceremony



A special highlight will be the presentation of the Rudolf Jaeckel - Prize of the German Vacuum Society DVG to Prof. Dr. Karl Leo from the Technical University of Dresden, and his Laureate Lecture entitled “Organics: Lousy semiconductors for wonderful applications”. Prof. Leo and his team received recently also the Future Prize 2011 of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany for their path breaking research on Organic Light Emitting Diodes and Organic Solar Cells.





The ceremony is scheduled on Monday, June 4, and will be conducted by Prof. Hans Oechsner. The Laudation will be presented by Prof. Michael Heuken from AIXTRON and Technical University of Aachen. The Laureate Lecture of Prof. Karl Leo is entitled
