Proceedings
Selected papers of the conference will be published as the PROCEEDINGS OF JVC-14/EVC-12/AMDVG-11/CroSloVM-19.
The PROCEEDINGS will be published as a special (but consecutively numbered) issue of the journal VACUUM.
Approximately forty papers will be published in the Proceedings issue. There is no page limitation to the contributions and there are no page charges. The submissions to the proceedings will be peer reviewed according to procedure for the regular journal papers.
Submission of a paper implies that it represents original work not previously published and not being considered for publication elsewhere. All previously published material shall be fully acknowledged in the manuscript. If any material from third parties is incorporated in the manuscript, the author should provide a written permission from each copyright holder, and should indicate the permission in the paper.
Conference Office will supply the corresponding author of each paper with the softbound copy of the PROCEEDINGS. Additionally, the first named or corresponding author of each contribution will be provided, at no cost, with a PDF file of the article via e-mail. The PDF is a watermarked version of the published article and includes a cover sheet with the journal cover image. Additional reprints can be ordered in accordance with the standard policy and prices of the Publisher.
Submission of the papers
Submission to this journal proceeds totally online and you will be guided stepwise through the creation and uploading of your files. The system automatically converts source files to a single PDF file of the article, which is used in the peer-review process. Please note that even though manuscript source files are converted to PDF files at submission for the review process, these source files are needed for further processing after acceptance. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place by e-mail removing the need for a paper trail.
Method of submission
: On-line submission via Elsevier’s Editorial System (EES) at http://ees.elsevier.com/vac/ is required.
